Let’s see how easy it is to make almond milk. If you are lactose intolerant or do not want to eat animal milk, then this recipe is for you.
1 cup raw almonds https://greenelly.com/;
3 cups filtered water, plus more for soaking
1/2 tsp organic vanilla extract;
1/4 tsp organic cinnamon;
measuring cup and spoons.
Place the almonds in a bowl and cover with water, leaving overnight in the refrigerator.
Drain and rinse the almonds thoroughly in cool running water and pat dry.
Place the almonds in a blender and add filtered water. Mix on high for 1-2 minutes.
Drain the almond mixture through cheesecloth into a bowl. Squeeze as much liquid out of the cheesecloth into the same place (leftover almond flour can be used for baking).
Pour the resulting milk back into the blender. Add vanilla, cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt.
Mix for 1 minute.
Pour almond milk into airtight containers and refrigerate. You can store for 5-7 days.
